My New Year’s resolution: Same TeenDramaWhore, better coverage.
In 2025, you’ll still get “Teen Drama Links” every Tuesday, along with the occasional Monday post on a particular topic. But with “Teen Drama Links” this year, I’m resolving to include more coverage of notable stars who were on the teen dramas but whom I’ve largely neglected to report on.
You may have noticed some of them already popping up in this weekly roundup over the last month or two, such as Keke Palmer (Elizabeth, 90210), Stephen Amell (Jim, 90210), and Marina Squerciati (Alessandra, Gossip Girl). But I also need to do a better job of including people like William Abadie (Jean Claude, The O.C. / Roman, Gossip Girl / Olivier, 90210), Natalie Morales (Ashley, 90210), and Melissa McBride, who had multiple bit parts on “Dawson’s Creek.”
In fact, I have a long list of names of people I should’ve been writing about all along but have overlooked. If I’m being honest, I will still probably come up short at times. It’s impossible for me to find everything about everyone, and I do try to curate these lists each week, not simply aggregate. That is, instead of sharing every little thing, I consciously compile what I think fellow TeenDramaWhores would find interesting or should know. But some things — or people — unintentionally fall through the cracks and I want to limit those oversights this year.
So here’s to a 2025 filled with more teen drama goodness than ever before.
