Live from New York, it’s teen drama stars hosting “Saturday Night Live”!
Hundreds of celebrities have hosted “SNL” over the years, but getting chosen to do so is still a momentous honor and a sign of a person’s place in the pop culture zeitgeist. Only a handful of our teen drama stars have had this opportunity — and none were lucky enough to host more than once.
So, just who in the teen drama world got a turn in the comedic spotlight? Keep reading to find out!

That’s right — no series regular from “The O.C.,” “One Tree Hill,” or “90210” has had the privilege of hosting “SNL.” However, Chris Pratt, who recurred on “The O.C.,” did get to host, and some main cast members who have never scored a hosting gig have at least made one-off cameos, like Brian Austin Green and Chace Crawford. Meanwhile, Seth Green, Olivia Wilde, and William Baldwin fall in between — they weren’t series regulars and they weren’t hosts, but they appeared on the teen dramas and made cameos on “SNL.”
There is also significant overlap between “SNL” musical guests and the musical guests who appeared on the teen dramas, like Babyface, Luther Vandross, No Doubt, Sheryl Crow, Fall Out Boy, and Carly Rae Jepsen. The takeaway here? Our teen dramas have good musical taste!
