Here’s what you need to know before the big game…

• The link to play will be emailed to TDW subscribers on the morning of October 18 — next Friday.

• The link will take you to the interactive online trivia platform Crowdpurr, which is accessible on both computers and mobile devices.

• The game will start once I kick it off on my end, so all you need to do is click to answer the questions as they appear on your screen.

• The questions will cover “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “Dawson’s Creek,” “The O.C.,” “One Tree Hill,” the original “Gossip Girl,” and “90210,” but you don’t need to be an expert in every show to do well.

• Points are awarded based not just on correct answers but also how fast you answer. The longer you take, the fewer points you can earn, although you won’t be penalized for incorrect answers.

• The game only takes about 30 minutes from start to finish.
