I agree, this ep of 90210mg was particularly bad. I think of all the eps so far, it's the one they spent the least amount of time discussing the actual ep. At some point, I was even wondering which episode they were actually discussing. I'm always a bit busy while I listen to 90210mg (either walking my pup or doing some cleaning), but I'm still always able to follow the discussion and keep track of which ep it is... except for this one!
It's also beyond me why: 1) They didn't think to invite the actor who plays David's dad to the podcast before recording; and 2) Why no one cut that part of the ep. It just look dumb to have them say "We should have invited him on!"
I'd be really curious to read these reviews you mention. Since I'm in Canada, I can only see the Canadian reviews/rating on Apple Podcasts. I see a 4.8/5 (from 153 ratings), and 11 written reviews, all of them 5 stars glowing reviews, except for a 3/5 review saying he/she enjoys the podcast, but wonders if Jennie & Tori actually rewatch the ep or just read cliff notes, and wishing they would talk about the show more and less of the random chitchat.

They may have spent even less time on the episode during the June 5 installment. But it's close between them.
It's beyond me too!
Well, that 3/5 review makes good points! I'm sorry you can't read the U.S. reviews.
