Is it me, or it made NO SENSE when, at the beg. of the episode, Tori said "I had to do my homework and took a lot of notes!"? Like... would it not make more sense that, if Sisanie taking notes for them, it's last week that Tori would have needed to do her homework, and could have not taken notes this week since Sisanie was back? I didn't get it. Unless they watch the episode a week before recording, which would mean Sisanie was still in Hawaii/off work when they watched it.

The astrology segment was so long and unnecessary. The "in good ways" was so awkward lmao. It should have been cut. Unless they're purposefully trying to create drama to get news article about the podcast.

At first I thought Tori's comment about Brenda being "unfemale" was going to be a sexist comment (i.e. she's a girl so she should be nice!), but I think it was actually a good point. I think as women you, at least me in my case, tend to give the benefit of a doubt if you hear a guy talk shit about other women (i.e. my ex gf was crazy! my sister is crazy! my mom is so annoying! my boss is a bitch! etc.). I thought it was a smart comment, like Sisanie's comment about Jennie acting like Donna's mom regarding the stock market storyline due to the theme of the ep being mothering.

I was surprised by Donna mentioning her pyramid scheme with Ian. I thought this project had kinda died out... they don't have an Instagram profile, and their "website" has not been updated in over a year (during all of COVID, it kept mentioning an upcoming trip to Bermuda). Either way, it's a shame that they took advantage of (mostly females, mostly poor - speaking of being "unfemale")

I agree that it's a very important and interesting ep for Brenda and Dylan. It's a shame there wasn't a properd discussion about their relationship and the ep, or about alcoholism and how this part of Dylan was portrayed.

I agree Tori's comment made no sense in the context of Sisanie. It was also just an embarrassing comment to make in general because it revealed / confirmed she doesn't put effort in at all the other weeks. And even with all the supposed homework she did this time, they still minimally discussed the episode.

I understand Tori's "unfemale" point in the context of women supporting women, but it also ignores the fact that a woman shouldn't just support another woman simply because she's the same gender. You don't automatically get every other woman's support just because you're a woman. You're supposed to earn it. And in this case, Brenda (rightly or wrongly) felt that Iris hadn't earned it.

I don't know if Tori and Ian's MLM has died out or not... I still see people posting about it. Such a shame, as you said... but Tori and Ian seem to be shameless.

Totally agree with you re: Tori's comment.

Just realized I hadn't finished my sentence about the MLM. I meant to say it's a shame they took advantage of so many fans, most of which I seem to be women. They're also lucky to be able to use 90210 in their name, since it's not a "unique" name like "Gossip Girl" or "One Tree Hill". The actors of those shows wouldn't be able to create a "TeamGossipGirl" or "TeamOneTreeHill" business without running into legal problems over the trademark.

It is a shame and even more people are probably getting duped right now because Ian just posted about it on Instagram and is soliciting fans to sign up. Really makes me lose respect for him.

That's a good point about "90210" and the name. On a somewhat related topic, I figured that's why the "OTH" ladies went with "Drama Queens" for their podcast name and not a title that used "One Tree Hill."
