Teen Drama Links for April 26, 2022
I’ve written before about BuzzFeed’s plethora of clickbait teen drama content — how their listicles draw me in, even if they’re redundant or even contradictory. The frequency of the lists led me to start including them en masse at the top of each week’s “Teen Drama Links” rather than separate them out by show.
Then, more recently, other sites like Collider and Screen Rant had an influx of teen drama-related lists, prompting me to put all lists at the top. And then last week’s edition was one of the largest lists of listicle links to date. That got me rethinking the format of our weekly news roundup.
Starting today, to better distinguish the lists from the rest of the articles I want to highlight, I’m setting the content off in two sections. The first section is “Listicle Links,” with all the lists that came out over the last week that have to do with the teen dramas or teen drama stars in some way. The second section is “Best of the Rest” — the newsy articles about these beloved actors and our favorite series, which was the inspiration for my News Roundups on the original TeenDramaWhore.
I am still personally curating each and every link, so I hope this new format only enhances your reading experience. Feel free to drop any feedback in the comments!
