I have a confession to make... and a challenge.
While I’ve seen seasons 1-6 of “One Tree Hill” countless times, I’ve only seen seasons 7-9 once — with the exception of one episode that I loved so much that I had to watch it again (episode 7.07).
That’s because, well, I didn’t really like seasons 7-9 (as I’ve shared before). But if I’m being honest, nearly 15 years later, I don’t really remember some of the smaller storylines from those seasons or remember them all that well.
Now, since the “Drama Queens” rewatch podcast will be starting season 7 next week, it’s time for me to rewatch those episodes too. I’ll be able to evaluate the podcast, and hopefully enjoy it, a lot better with these episodes fresh in my head. I’ll also be curious to go back and look at the thoughts I had all those years ago — when I live-blogged each episode — and see if my opinions have changed.
So I’m challenging myself to watch one episode a week, keeping up with the podcast’s pace. Will I like these seasons better this time around? Cross your fingers, and follow along on Twitter (X), where I will be posting my weekly reactions and linking back to the old live-blogs.
