Lately I’ve been thinking about all the shorthand I use to talk about the teen dramas and I realized... it’s time.
It’s time for a teen drama glossary.
Here’s what I have so far…
Teen Drama Terminology
Endgame: Characters who end the story romantically together
OTP: One true pairing; your all-time favorite couple
TPTB: The powers that be — network executives and creatives
Ship: A romantic relationship; also used as a verb to express your love of a pairing
TD: Teen drama
TD connections: When a project involves teen drama actors or creatives
TD stars: Actors who have appeared on a teen drama
TD worlds colliding: When a project involves people from two or more teen dramas
“Beverly Hills, 90210” Terminology
Brelly: Brandon and Kelly
Brylan: Brenda and Dylan
Delly: Dylan and Kelly; also known as Kylan
“Dawson’s Creek” Terminology
Poey: Pacey and Joey; also known as Jacey
“The O.C.” Terminology
Chrismukkah: A holiday celebrating both Christmas and Hanukkah
GP: Game plan or good point, depending on Seth’s usage
Sethummer: Seth and Summer
“One Tree Hill” Terminology
Baley: Brooke and Haley
Brathan: Brooke and Nathan

Jason Priestley (Brandon, Beverly Hills,90210), Ian Ziering (Steve, Beverly Hills, 90210), and Ryan Thomas Brown (Muntz, Beverly Hills, 90210) are no longer appearing at the “Fab Five” fan event in September.
It seems Priestley and Ziering pulled out so they could do “90s Con,” which is the same weekend, instead. Ziering confirmed their participation on yesterday’s “9021OMG.”
