An event that profoundly impacted my life occurred on this day, May 17.
David Wells pitched a perfect game at Yankee stadium and I was in attendance.
Okay, that’s true, but it’s not the profound event I’m referring to.
I’m referencing, of course, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” series finale, which aired on this day in 2000.
I really can’t fathom how it’s been 22 years because it feels like just yesterday. I also briefly wrote about this day on the original TeenDramaWhore back in 2010 and that feels so recent too.
Every now and then, I’ll be out somewhere and Madonna’s “Take A Bow” will start playing and I’m taken right back to this time and the promos that led up to this historic day.
“The show is over, say goodbye,” Madonna sings.
I’ll never say goodbye.
