So I just messaged one of *my* best friends, who I met on a 90210-discussion group online in 1999, to do a search on her email for "teen drama whore" to see if she still had one of our old group emails about it, because I'm still trying to figure out my initial intro to TDW. (Our group on Yahoogroups who shut down a couple of years ago, and we didn't save our archives.)
It would have been after that, and I think it was the website itself. I remember someone sharing an article or something and talking about how great the name TDW was.

I actually didn't start going by TDW until 2008. On message boards, I've also used "90210grl" and "dc2theoc."
