Where does the time go?
This past Saturday, May 17, marked 25 years since “Beverly Hills, 90210” ended.
I can still see myself in my childhood bedroom — I was all of 12 years old at the time — watching the series finale, as if it was just yesterday.
Of course, this date technically also marks Donna and David’s 25th wedding anniversary, a milestone Tori Spelling celebrated on social media. Their wedding ceremony remains one of my all-time favorite Donna moments all these years later.
I’ve reflected on this date before and I don’t think there will ever a come a time when May 17 doesn’t give me pause. Perhaps that’s because I can divide my life into “Before May 17, 2000” and “After May 17, 2000.”
But a life where May 17 doesn’t register with me at all? That’s not a life I’d ever want.
